V roku 1827 sa ocitá Franz Schubert opätovne vo viedenskej nemocnici a začína tam komponovať svoju „Zimnú cestu“ – piesňový cyklus na básne Wilhelma Müllera. Tuší už svoju smrť? Trpí na syfilis a zostáva mu ešte 20 mesiacov života. Vo svojom poslednom roku života píše Schubert, podobne ako Mozart, hlboko inšpirované kompozície. Jeho denník je však stále úsečnejší – izolácia, chlad, popretie života: „Tou cestou musím ísť, ktorou sa ešte nik nevrátil“.

„Zimná cesta je existencionálnou výpoveďou mladého muža, ktorý zažíva nešťastnú lásku a vydáva sa na cestu zimnou krajinou a v širšom zmysle aj filozofickým vyjadrením človeka na ceste životom. Sme poctení, že naše divadlo v týchto náročných časoch mohlo privítať svetoznámeho slovenského tenoristu Pavla Bršlíka, ktorý do Košíc prináša exkluzívny piesňový recitál Franza Schuberta Zimná cesta, spolu s klaviristom Róbertom Pechancom. Ďakujeme riaditeľke Konzervatória, pani Anete  Hollej za zapožičanie výborného koncertného krídla Steinway pre túto nahrávku.“ hovorí riaditeľ Opery ŠDKE Roland Khern-Tóth.

„Dvadsaťštyri piesní (ich dĺžka sa pohybuje od vyše piatich minút do vyše jednej) tvorí kontrastný, cca 75-minútový oblúk, naplnený rozmanitými náladami, sprevádzajúcimi dušu pútnika mrazivou krajinou s beznádejným koncom. Pavol Bršlík s Amirom Katzom ju poňali – tu sa ťažko hľadá vhodný výraz – s majstrovskou vierohodnosťou. Stavil by som sa, že by silou citového náboja dojali aj samotného Schuberta… “ napísal v recenzii na koncert hudobný kritik Pavel Unger.

Piesňový cyklus „Zimná cesta“ už Pavol Bršlík s veľkým úspechom koncertne uviedol pred poldruha rokom v Bratislave, spolu s klaviristom Amirom Katzom. Na týchto koncertoch obaja umelci spoločne uviedli do života aj rovnomenné CD.
Diváci sa môžu tešiť na výnimočný hudobný a scénický zážitok v réžii Antona Korenčiho, ktorý je umocnený vizuálne živým umením Bei Kolbašovskej.

Eines der schönsten Opernhäuser Mitteleuropas, das historische Gebäude des Staatstheaters Košice im Osten der Slowakei, präsentiert ein weiteres einzigartiges Projekt – eine inszenierte Aufführung von Schuberts Liederzyklus „Winterreise“, mit dem slowakischen Tenor Pavel Breslik, welcher von dem gefeierten Pianisten Robert Pechanec musikalisch begleitet wird. Die Aufführung wird Ihnen online zur Verfügung gestellt.

„Wir freuen uns, Ihnen mitteilen zu können, dass in unserem Haus der gefeierte slowakische Tenor Pavel Breslik in einer Aufführung des Liederzyklus „Winterreise“ von Franz Schubert zu Gast sein wird. Herr Breslik wird von dem international anerkannten Pianisten Robert Pechanec begleitet. Schuberts Zyklus ist ein dramatischer Monolog über Trauer und Liebe, der existenzieller Verzweiflung und Resignation Platz macht, wobei die „Winterreise“ zum Synonym für eine psychologische und spirituelle Reise wird “, sagt Roland Khern Toth, Direktor des Opernensembles des Staatstheaters Košice. Die Performance wird von Anton Korenči geleitet und enthält Videokunst von Bea Kolbašová.

Die Aufführung wird online über die offizielle Ticketplattform des slowakischen Kulturministeriums navstevnik.online verfügbar sein. Um Tickets zu kaufen, wählen Sie bitte eine Anzahl von Tickets und dann eine Zahlungsoption – 10 EUR für ein einzelnes Ticket oder 20 EUR für eine zusätzliche Spende von 10 EUR an das Opernhaus. One of the most beautiful opera houses in Central Europe, the historic building of the State Theatre Košice in the east of Slovakia, is playing host to another unique project – a staged performance of Schubert´s song cycle Winterreise featuring Slovak star tenor Pavel Breslik accompanied by the acclaimed pianist Robert Pechanec. The performance will be available to watch online.

„We are pleased to announce that our house is hosting the acclaimed Slovak tenor Pavel Breslik in a performance of the song cycle Winterreise by Franz Schubert. Mr. Breslik is accompanied by the internationally acclaimed pianist Robert Pechanec.  Schubert´s cycle is a dramatic monologue about grief and love giving way to more existential despair and resignation where the winter´s journey becomes a synonym for a psychological and spiritual one“, says Roland Khern Toth, director of the opera ensemble of State Theatre Košice. The performance is directed by Anton Korenči and contains video art by Bea Kolbašová.
